C.S.I (Colour, Symbol, Image)

One of our favorite visible thinking routines is the C.S.I. (Colour, Symbol, Image). For this activity, students thought about the year ahead in Grade three. They were asked to think abstractly and try to come up with a colour, a symbol, and an image that represented their feelings.

They used a page in their Learning Journals to draw these, and then afterward, the had an opportunity to share their work.

Sharing and reflecting on our classroom activities and learning is a powerful way to deepen our understanding.

It's also a great way to get to know one another!
